A couple of sentences… “Me voy al sobre”, the literal translation is actually, “I’m going to the envelope”. But what the Spaniards mean is “I’m going to bed”. I tried using a language translator but quickly figured out that when you type in a grammatically correct sentence in Spanish… the darn translator gives you something like “It passed some pumps, merely no one dogs”...
I hope you now appreciate the amount of boredom that drives me to write this… lol…

Quickfire
“debo admitirlo” means “I must admit”
“estoy de acuerdo contigo” means literally, “I am in agreement with you”… or “I agree with you”
“Es mas facil que beber un vaso de agua” means “It’s easier than drinking a glass of water”… which is what one says when something is very easy. You could also say “Es pan comido”, meaning “It’s eaten bread” … eg. the English equivalent would be, “It was a piece of cake!”
“! Que jopo eres!” means “What an ass you are!”
You say “Cosete la boca” if you want someone to shut up. The literal translation is “sew up your mouth”…
A random one here, “Estoy hecho una braga”, which, translated into English is “I’m made a panty”… but the Spanish mean “I am very tired!”
Yeah, if you are giving people advice about the British, “La gente de esas tipos tiene poco afecto hacia mucho contacto , así que mantené distancia” …. means, “The people of those types have little affection towards lots of contact, so keep your distance”
Okay, even though you’d probably never use this sentence, it gives you a good idea of typical sentence structure… “Aunque él llegó a vivir a México debido a un problema de depresión” meaning… “Although he got to live to Mexico due to a depression problem”

Ok, just to let everyone know, this is stuff I’ve collected off numerous blogs and social websites that I thought would be useful to my friends which is why I’ve stuck the credits page somewhere random. Actually, if you’re reading this, I’d like to know (out of curiosity) how you found my blog… lol, I just find it funny…… anyway… back to my pathetic attempts to speed learn Spanish.

Most of my posts are random sentences (translated to english) which have been taken from social websites (yahoo answers, myspace etc…) so this probably not very accurate but you can trust me on this one
